PRAYING THE LORD’S PRAYER
>>>>>sequel to last Sunday<<<<<
“GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD” – Matt. 6:11
To ask for daily bread, is to supplicate both for ourselves and for others.
Because of the right to ask that God has given us, we should not be afraid to ask of anything from Him. This is based on the spirit of adoption we have received from God. It is no spirit of fear, rather a spirit that makes us cry Daddy, father – Rom. 8:15.
Hence you as a child of God is not expected to go to another being to ask for what your heavenly father can give to you: if you do, our father is grieved.
Another thing is the righteousness God has established us to be through Christ. God made Christ to be sin for us to be righteous before God – 2 Cor. 5:21.
Also, God desires to be our total source of supply. So, if we don’t ask, He is often disappointed. In prayer and supplication, let your requests be made known to God – Phil. 4:6.
Make a precise list in size, colour, quality, etc., of everything you can envision. If one prays for a thing and confesses same, he shall have whatsoever he saith – Mark 11:23.
In times of difficulty, give us our daily bread. During draught, flood, nothingness, pestilence, hopelessness, economic impasse, inflation, bad government, currency devaluation and fluctuation, plagues, epidemics, illnesses, peace, joy, famine, temptation, persecution, tribulation, Coronavirus pandemic, etc., Father, please, give us OUR DAILY BREAD.
Healing from every illness is also under this step. Intercessions you want to make on behalf of others, are needed daily bread…
