Topic: AT THE CORRIDORS OF CANAAN

Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 34:1, 4-5

📖1….”And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
📖4….And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
📖5….So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.”

Message:

🔥The experience of Moses on Mount Nebo, at the top of Pisgah, can be classified as the worst kind of near success failure syndrome. To be allowed to see your contract papers before being shredded before you, is a trauma that can hardly be forgotten. Just like to be sacked from work on the first day on duty having been jobless for years. Moses struggled with the children of Israel through thick and thin crisis in the wilderness after crossing the red sea, only to be disallowed from entering into the prepared place, just when he was already at the corridors of Canaan. The feelings from such an experience is called in Proverbs 13:12 as deferred hope that makes the heart sick.

🔥🔥A corridor is a strip of land that connects one country to another. Whatever connects two different realities, is a corridor. A good corridor connects one from sorrow to happiness, from poverty to prosperity, from sickness to good health, from barrenness to fruitfulness, etc. Canaan being the prepared place by God for his children to inherit, was approached with joy and great expectations by Moses and all the Jews, until they got to the water of Meribah in Numbers 20:11-12, where Moses lost the hope of getting into Canaan. This made Moses to experience a bad corridor; which connected him from bad to worse physically, but to best spiritually.

🔥🔥🔥Beloved BoLD readers, have you ever tasted near success, yet failure comes knocking? Has your hope ever been dashed when you thought you had finally escaped the quicksand and the miry clay of backwardness? Even though Moses died at his corridor of Canaan, he wasn’t neglected by God. He was buried by God (Deut 34:6), and used by God to transfigure Jesus in Matt 17:1-3. No matter how nauseating and disgusting your corridor is, God will position a light at the end of your tunnel.

SOULS ACTIVITIES:

🙏Heavenly Father, deliver me from whatever will postpone my close success, to a sickening heart experience, in Jesus’ name.

🙏🙏O Lord, in my state of transition between two realities, always move me from bad to good in Jesus’ name.

🙏🙏🙏Dependable Father, thank you for leading me to your light of greatness from every dark tunnel of confusion in Jesus’ name.
