Topic: BE A REASONABLE SACRIFICE TO GOD
Text: Romans 12:1
📖1….”I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
🔥Going to Church, is for services rendering. It is when acceptable services are rendered by our bodies to God, that we can be said to be Christians. But few take time to check whether their services are reasonable and acceptable by God or not. In John 4:22-24, Jesus said that those that must worship God acceptably, must worship Him in spirit and in truth. So, whatever we do in the name of rendering services to God, must be from our spirit; instead of from our eyes and flesh. And it must be a reflection of our innermost being.
🔥🔥When the first Church Annual Thanksgiving service was organized in Genesis 4:3-5 and Cain and Abel came to offer unto God, Abel’s offering reflected what God was to him truthfully. But that of Cain was a carnal reflection. That’s why God accepted Abel’s as a reasonable service offering. But that of Cain was detestable. Child of God, be reminded that everyday in God’s presence, is a day of rendering services to Him. A man’s gift (service) unto God, will either make room for him and bring him before great men (Prov 18:16), or close doors for him, and bring lack to him (Prov 11:24).
🔥🔥🔥Whatever gift you are going to Church with, make sure it is reasonable and acceptable. Check your heart to see if you are prepared to enter his gates with Thanksgiving and his courts with praise. And also check that polymer notes or paper notes you want to appreciate God with, whether there are cello tapes on them. If they have cello tapes or they are torn, they are polluted. They are like offering blind animals for sacrifice. According to God in Malachi 1:6-8, it is evil; and unacceptable to God since they bring curses – Mal 1:13-14. Everyday is a day of reasonable service unto God. Prove God by your reasonable services as you live day by day unto him.

🙏O Lord, I agree with your word, help me to render reasonable services to you today, in Jesus’ name.
🙏🙏My God that inhabits the praises of his children, cause our praise worship in our Church to always bring down your glory in Jesus’ name
🙏🙏🙏Dependable father, remove from me, every judgmental and gossip spirit, so that my services to you will be acceptable in Jesus’ name
🙏🙏🙏🙏My father my father, since a man’s gift makes room for him, use my tithes and offerings to both announce me, and enlarge my coasts, in Jesus’ name.
